General
- Flight Simulator Cyprus is not a registered training organisation. It is not accredited or registered with any organisation, or carry any certification for training purposes. Any training received from us is strictly for entertainment purposes, and must not be used for real life operations.
- Our simulator is currently offered for entertainment purposes to the general public; and for self-training and self-practice for pilots, trainee pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
- We do not represent, nor are we affiliated to the company "Boeing" in any way. Nothing on our website, or in our marketing and training material should be construed as official information from, or about, the company "Boeing".
Definitions
- “We” and “us” referred to in these terms and conditions refer to the trade name of Flight Simulator Cyprus, which is a business registered in the name of S&S Flight Simulator Ltd, in Cyprus.
- “Flight” refers to your time and experience in our fixed-based flight simulator.
Prices
- All prices are shown in Euros and include VAT.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations
- You can change your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled time.
- Any cancellations made, less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled time, for whatever reason, will result in the cancellation of your ticket. You will not be entitled to any refund in this case.
Refunds
- You can request a refund for your purchase within 7 days of making payment, so long as it is at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time, if you have booked a flight. You will be charged a 10% administration fee for processing the refund.
- No refund will be given, for whatever reason, for requests made after 7 days from making payment.
Delays
- If you are late for your booking, or decide to take a break during your session, the session will be shortened accordingly. The session cannot be extended due to delays incurred by you.
- As in the real world, sometimes flights can be delayed for technical, scheduling or other reasons. We will endeavour to inform you prior to your booking if there are any significant delays.
- If we have to shorten or reduce the quality of your flight due to technical or scheduling issues, we will compensate you by offering you another commensurate session or a refund.
Entry into the Simulator
- If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or are unable to physically gain access to the simulator, your flight will be cancelled without a refund.
- Our staff have every right to be treated with respect and dignity. If at any time, you behave in an inappropriate way, including but not limited to indecency, abusive language or behaviour, and sexist or racist behaviour, your session will be terminated immediately, and you will not receive a refund.
- The minimum age of entry into the simulator is 8 years.
- All children must be supervised at all times.
Use of the Simulator
- You must operate the simulator gently and with care at all times. Flight instruments and avionics are delicate and can easily be damaged.
- Any attempt to intentionally crash the plane, or to fly it into or around buildings or structures, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- You must respect and follow flying instructions given to you by your instructor at all times to the best of your abilities.
Photography and Media
- You may not use any photographs, video or audio recordings taken in our simulator for commercial purposes, or provide such data to any third party organisations or media outlets, without prior written approval from us. You may however publish such material on your personal social media pages.
Accessibility and Health
- You understand that our flight simulator replicates the real flight deck, and is therefore quite spatially restricted. You will require a certain amount of agility to be able to get into the cockpit, and especially into the captain’s seat.
- You confirm that you do not have any known medical conditions which may result in the flight causing you adverse effects. For example, the occasional flashing lights on the graphical displays could be a trigger for people with epilepsy. Similarly, people with heart conditions may not be able to deal with the adrenalin rush.
- You accept that if you have any health conditions which may interfere with your flight, you will obtain a medical clearance prior to entering the simulator.
Liability
- You agree to indemnify us and all of our employees, agents and contractors from and against all actions, claims, losses, damages, and expenses of whatever nature which you may suffer, incur or become liable to as a result of your use of our flight simulator.
- It is your sole responsibility to determine whether you are physically capable of, and whether it is safe for you to use our flight simulator
