Perform two short flights, carrying out all the preflight preparations, procedures and checks, and also finish off with a holding pattern and a missed approach!

You may also choose to complete a flight with Live Air Traffic Control (ATC)*, to take the realism to the max!

Another option is to fly a number of different short flights, such as city excursions, scenic flights, or a number of challenging landings.

The Intensive Plus option is also ideal for pilots require intensive training and practice, and for larger groups of people.

The Extended Flight Option is perfect for the enthusiast who would like the additional time to really get involved in the whole process of flying. From programming in your flight plan into the flight management computer (FMC), and preparing the departure and arrival in detail, you have the time to get stuck into the finer details. You may also choose to fly with Live Air Traffic Control (ATC)*, to take the realism to the max!

Alternatively, you may wish to perform two short flights, such as a return flight, just as flight crew will often be required to do in the real world. As soon as you arrive at the gate after your first flight, it will be time to quickly turn the aircraft around and head back! Feel the pressure of working to a tight timeline – just like in real life!

Another option is to practice flying published departure and arrival procedures, perfect your landings, or carry out a few city excursions and scenic flights.

The Extended flight option is also ideal for pilots wanting preparing for airline interviews.

The Ultimate Adventure (Save €45)

The Intensive flight option is the ultimate adventure for the serious enthusiast or for a group of people (group surcharges apply – please visit our Group Bookings page). Like the 2-hour Extended flight option, you can perform two short flights, carrying out all the preflight preparations, procedures and checks, or perhaps combine a single flight with a number of holding patterns, missed approaches and touch and go’s!

You may also choose to fly with Live Air Traffic Control (ATC)*, to take the realism to the max!

Another option is to fly a number of different short flights, such as city excursions, scenic flights, or a number of challenging landings.

The Intensive option is also ideal for pilots preparing for airline interviews, or wanting to practice specific procedures.

Just like the 1-hour Short Haul flight option, you can complete a full city to city flight in real time, following real world flight plans, procedures and checklists. Spend the extra 30 minutes preparing the aircraft from a cold and dark state, completing the preflight procedures together with your instructor or carry out a missed approach on arrival, for a more complete experience.

Alternatively, instead of a city-to-city flight, you may choose to fly a number of different short flights, such as city excursions, scenic flights, or a number of challenging landings!

Complete a short city to city flight in real time or simply grab the controls and explore the world. The Short Haul is a great way to experience a full city to city flight, and learn how real pilots do it! You will become familiar with all the major processes that take place from starting up at the gate to landing at the destination airport.

For a city to city flight, the aircraft will be positioned at a gate close to the active runway and have the flight plan programmed into the Flight Management Computer already. After a short briefing, you will start up the engines, and taxi to the runway. After takeoff, you will have the chance to practice your manual flying skills, and engage the autopilot when you want a break to enjoy the breath-taking scenery!

Along the way, you will be completing the checklists, and making public announcements for the crew and passengers as required. You will be shown how to navigate the airplane along your flight plan, using real-world navigation charts and procedures.

Optionally, instead of a city-to-city flight, you may choose to fly a number of different short flights, such as city excursions, scenic flights, or a few challenging landings!

Enjoy a city excursion, a scenic flight or a challenging landing! You will learn how to use the flight controls, perform a touch & go, or try out a challenging landing. The Test Flight is a great introduction to what being a pilot of a commercial airliner feels like. You will be given basic training on how to use the flight controls, and as the pilot in command, you will takeoff, fly and land the airliner.

Typically, the flight will commence with the plane positioned on the runway with the engines running. With your hands and feet on the controls, you will gently ease the throttles forward, and then engage the auto throttle. You will keep your eyes ahead, and keep the plane on the runway until your instructor calls out “V1 and Rotate”. That is when you will pull back on the yoke as the plane lifts off!

Once in the air, your instructor will set up the systems for arrival as you navigate around the airport, taking in the breath-taking views. With your landing gear down and flaps deployed on the final approach, it’s a matter of following the instruments as they guide you down the glideslope. A slight flare at the end, and idling of the throttles, and you will feel the vibrations on touch down, and the rush as you try to bring the plane to a full stop!
